Boxing Program

Boxing is a combat sport in which two people, usually wearing protective gloves and other protective equipment such as hand wraps and mouth-guards, throw punches at each other for a predetermined amount of time in a boxing ring

The competition is divided into a specified number of rounds, usually 3 minutes long, with 1-minute rest periods between rounds.

Boxing has been around since at least 688 BC, when the ancient Greeks made it into an Olympic game.

Boxing is good for selfdefense because it teaches you how to block an attacker and fight them if necessary. Boxing also improves fitness, strengthens motor skills and mentally prepares you for a fight. However, people often learn another martial art so they can also fight on the ground if required.
